Xcaret is a fascinating eco-cultural park that offers an abundance of activities providing a lot of fun for everyone. Here, visitors are surrounded by ceremonies, sounds, cultural events, tastes, rituals and ecological pursuits of Mexico.

Water activities are everywhere and include a beach, snorkeling, tubing or swimming underground rivers, beautiful beach coves and a scenic inlet. Swims with nurse sharks, stingrays, manatees and dolphins are optional at an extra charge.

Those with ecological interests enjoy exploring the mushroom, and stinger-less bee farms and the Natural Museum of orchids and bromeliads. Xcaret’s Aquarium, fed by ocean water, offers a myriad of fascinating sea life displays including sea turtles. Xcaret also boasts a Regional Wildlife Breeding farm with incredible local species and breeding programs of such species as the beautiful green and red macaws. Free ecological and cultural tours are available for those yearning to have more detailed information about their local surroundings.

If you are a history buff, several ancient, protected Maya archaeological vestiges exist on site, complete with their own tour and guide. Both of Xcaret’s Chapels, one on ground level next to a beautiful Hacienda and the Museum of Mexican Folk Art, are “must see“; well worthy of appreciation, worship, weddings, and special celebrations. Five restaurants offer a variety of international cuisine; and quaint shops, scattered about, satisfy the cravings of the dedicated shopper.

There is much to see and much to do at Xcaret, but nothing surpasses its ability to entertain. Xcaret’s exquisite Night Show is chock-full of excitement, history, song and dance, color and culture, as are the day shows all over the park.

Xcaret is exciting, fun, inspiring and impressive! To enjoy a taste of what Mexico has to offer, Xcaret has it all.
