LOCATION:
The resort is located in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone on a beautiful stretch of Mexico’s Caribbean coast. The JW Marriott Cancun Resort and Spa is adjacent to the Marriott CasaMagna Cancun Resort, connected by a pathway between their respective ballroom/convention room areas. The resort is just 2 miles (5 kms.) south of the Cancun Center, (Cancun’s convention center) and all major shopping plazas and 11 miles (16 kms.) from Cancun International Airport. Various archaeological sites and ecological parks are situated no more than 2 hours from the resort. Cancun is easily accessible from most U.S. cities. Airlines servicing Cancun include American Airlines, Continental, Delta, United, Northwest, USAir, Aeroméxico, Alaska Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Iberia and Air Europe, among others. Club 91 is a “Boutique” hotel within the JW Marriott Cancun Resort and Spa. Club 91 offers a more personalized service to those guests who wish to indulge themselves during their stay at our resort. Guests at Club 91 have access to a variety of exclusive services and luxurious amenities such as: Premium Ocean view rooms, access to “Lounge Club 91”, which offers: 5 meals per day for two adults and two children under 6, International beverages, private concierge, Wireless internet access in the lounge only, 4 private balconies with premium ocean views, selection of pillows for increased comfort, “Discovery Hour”; live preparation of a Signature dish from one of our 5 restaurants. Sedona Grill is located within the JW Marriott Cancun and offers an impressive view of the sea. Our secret is to offer only the best and tastiest northwest food to be found in this city. We pride ourselves to be the only resort in Latin America to offer a certified PADI diving pool; 18 feet deep (6 meters), decorated with an artificial coral reef. Marriott Kids Club:
Activities from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. “Marriott Kids” is a program especially for kids ages 4 to 12. It offers: professional supervision, daily activities in the pool and twice a week on the beach, such as sand-castle building, kid’s aerobics, contests, arts and crafts. The price of the complete program (6 hours of fun and entertainment) daily fee includes lunch and a gift. The JW Marriott Cancun Resort and Spa has 20,391 sq ft (1,897 m 2 ) of space available for corporate gatherings and social events. Divided among the Grand Ballroom of 14,400 sq ft (1,341 m 2 ), the Grand Foyer of 3,006 sq ft (279 m 2 ) and its 10 additional meeting rooms, the resort can accommodate up to 1,800 people for an event.
